1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. Information we collect

When you request a demo, we collect the information you provide: name, company, work email address, telephone number if provided, organisation type and message. We also create a protected hash of your IP address to prevent abuse of the form. We collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as browser requests, device information and server logs. If you are a CMS user, we process your account and authentication information.

3. Why we use your information

We use demo-request information to respond to your request, arrange a demonstration and manage the resulting business conversation. We use technical and security information to protect the website, prevent fraud and abuse, and diagnose faults. We use CMS-account information to manage authorised access. This website does not currently use optional analytics. If that changes, analytics will be used only after you have given consent through the cookie banner.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website and managing business enquiries, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent for optional analytics. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal.

5. Sharing and international transfers

We share data only with our EU/EEA hosting and infrastructure providers, service providers that help us secure and maintain the website, and professional advisers or authorities where required by law. We do not currently use an analytics or demo-notification email provider. We do not intentionally transfer personal data outside the EEA. If that changes, we will use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, where required.

6. Retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, to meet legal requirements or to resolve disputes. Demo enquiries, including their associated rate-limit hash, are deleted 24 months after their creation. CMS account information is kept while access is required and then deleted or retained only where legally necessary. Technical and security logs are kept for the shortest period needed to operate, secure and diagnose the website. If optional analytics are enabled in future, their retention period will be disclosed before they are used.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You may also withdraw consent for optional analytics. Contact admin@amssphere.com to exercise your rights. You may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), or your local supervisory authority.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will publish the current version here and update the effective date.
